Applicability
The delivery and payment conditions apply to all transactions between Vrije Boeken and its customers.
Before the distance contract is concluded, the text of the general delivery and payment conditions is made available to the customer.
offer
If an offer has a limited period of validity or is made under different conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer.
The offer consists of a description of the offered product and possibly an image. The description enables a proper assessment of the offer by the buyer. The images are a true representation of the product offered. Errors and/or errors in the offer are not binding on the entrepreneur.
Information regarding the following points is described so clearly that the customer clearly knows what his rights and obligations are, which are attached to the acceptance of the offer. This concerns the following:
a. Price of the product (including taxes)
b. The way in which the agreement is concluded
c. The method of payment, delivery and execution
d. The term for acceptance of the offer
e. The possible languages in which, in addition to Dutch, the agreement can be concluded
Agreement
The agreement is concluded at the moment of acceptance by the customer of the offer and the acceptance of the associated conditions.
Right of withdrawal
When purchasing a product, with the exception of e-books and audiobooks, the customer has the right to dissolve the agreement without stating reasons during 14 days. The term starts on the day of receipt of the product from the customer.
The customer will only unpack and/or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether he wishes to keep the product. If the customer makes use of his right of withdrawal, he will return the product to the entrepreneur in its original condition and packaging.
The costs of return are for the account of the customer.
If the customer has paid an amount, the entrepreneur will refund this amount as soon as possible, within 14 days after return or withdrawal. That is the price for the product(s) and any shipping costs paid.
With e-books and audiobooks, no termination of the agreement is possible.
Prices
The stated prices of the products include VAT.
Complaints
The entrepreneur has a sufficiently publicized complaints procedure and handles complaints in accordance with this complaints procedure.
If a complaint cannot be resolved in mutual consultation, it is subject to the dispute settlement procedure.
Disputes
Any dispute between the customer and 50pagesbooks will, in case the court has jurisdiction, be settled by the Court of Amsterdam.
